At Bath, our mission statement is, “The Exhibitor”, so the Society is ever mindful of the primary objective, that is the general improvement of dogs through education of owners. The Committee believe in education and training of not only the breeder community, but of the wider public at large. In that the Society would promote all aspects that will contribute to the well-being of the canine world, not only for today, but for future generations, after all we are just the care-takers for a brief moment in time.

In support of the Kennel Club’s, “Fit for Function, Fit for Life” campaign the Society intends to have on hand, Breeders and Judges of long standing together with representatives of local Canine Societies and Training Classes, all to assist the general public in improving their knowledge of Breeds, i.e. appearance, characteristics, temperament, coat colour, size, life expectancy and details of exercise required for each breed, everything a potential owner may want to know before buying.

Also available under the auspices of the Kennel Club unentered dog may be brought to the show on the day and admitted as a Spectator Dog (at a cost of £5.00 per dog). Upon arrival at the show you will need to complete the necessary Kennel Club form, giving an undertaking that you will keep your dog under control at all times.

The Kennel Club will have a small stand, from which literature will be available to further assist potential dog owners.

Bath Canine Society look forward to welcoming you to the Show.
